Hi! I'm Ellie -

I'm a lover of pink, peanut butter, piña coladas, psychology, and party planning!

I believe that humans are one whole integrated system and that everyone has the capacity to thrive in their lives. With an inherent ability to see the good in everyone, I have always loved connecting with people and helping them discover their own internal goodness, vitality, and strengths.

I practice Holistic Psychology, and feel passionate about making science, wellness, and psychology accessible tools everyone can utilize in their lives to cultivate the best version of themselves. As a Columbia University trained clinical psychologist, I provide integrative strengths-based psychotherapy. My approach is grounded in scientifically-backed, evidence-based psychology methods.

I am also a trained and certified mindfulness meditation teacher and mind-body therapies practitioner. Having trained with Jack Kornfield, Tara Brach, Dan Siegel, and Jon Kabat-Zinn, I have taught meditation and mindfulness for almost a decade in schools, corporations, studios, and the community.

Grounded in my background, training, and passions, my work both inside and outside the therapy room draws upon mindfulness, positive psychology, neuroscience, nutrition, integrative medicine, contemplative practices, and other forms of holistic health to help others deal with challenges, heal from life’s stressors, and most importantly, thrive in their lives. I work with people of all ages, from early childhood through adults, as well as families, groups, teams, and communities.

I graduated from Princeton University with a BA in Psychology and graduated from Teachers College Columbia University with a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology. At Princeton, my passions were psychology, sports, and theme parties. At Columbia, my passions were starting a wellness center, developing a spirituality mind body masters program, and researching and teaching the psychology of mindfulness, spirituality, and how to live a full meaningful and healthy life.

I look forward to getting to know you and connecting!

Be Well,

Ellie
